We're recruiting for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join a professional evening cleaning operation in Gloucester. This is a hands-on opportunity where you'll lead & support a team, maintain high standards & play an important role in keeping the site running smoothly.

Flexible hours of 3pm-9pm or 4pm-9pm

Key Responsibilities

As a Cleaning Supervisor, you'll support the day-to-day evening operation & help ensure the team consistently delivers high standards.

Supervise, support & motivate the evening cleaning team
Carry out regular checks & walk-rounds to monitor standards
Complete supervisor checks & report any issues
Support with team organisation & coordination
Carry out cleaning duties when required
Clean offices, restaurants, toilets, washrooms & showers
Use cleaning machinery & equipment safely
Support with training & guidance for new team members
Keep cleaning cupboards stocked & organised
Arrange cover for sickness & annual leave when required
Report operational issues to management
Ensure health & safety procedures & cleaning standards are followed

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone confident leading a team who isn't afraid to get stuck in & lead by example.

Previous cleaning supervisory experience - essential
Experience in commercial cleaning or facilities management
Excellent attention to detail
Strong communication & organisational skills
A hands-on approach & positive attitude
Ability to lead, motivate & support a team
Good understanding of confidentiality, health & safety & company procedures
BICS qualification would be desirable, but is not essential
