Cleaner, Commercial Cleaning

Lincs Inspire is recruiting a permanent cleaner for 7.5 hours a week at Whisby Natural World Centre, a nature visitor site. The post keeps public areas, offices, staff rooms and back-of-house spaces clean and ready for visitors and staff, and involves using and storing cleaning equipment and chemicals under COSHH rules. Rota working covers seven days a week, including weekends and bank holidays, because the centre opens every day of the year.

Applicants need previous cleaning experience and a proactive approach.

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the centre so that all areas are ready for customers, staff and visitors
• Clean public areas, offices, staff facilities and back-of-house spaces
• Maintain clean, safe and welcoming environments throughout the site
• Use and store cleaning equipment, materials and chemicals safely, following COSHH guidance and supplier instructions
• Keep designated cleaning storage areas organised and compliant with health and safety standards
• Help maintain excellent presentation standards across the centre to support the visitor experience

• Previous cleaning experience
