A Building Management Systems provider is seeking an experienced Service & Operations Manager to lead their Service & Commissioning department. This is a senior management role combining technical oversight, people leadership, and commercial responsibility.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage multi-disciplinary field engineers and office support staff
Oversee maintenance, commissioning, service projects, and breakdown operations
Full departmental P&L responsibility, budgeting, and forecasting
Deliver small to medium service projects and retrofits
Mentor, appraise, and develop team members
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers
Provide technical guidance and solutions to staff and clients
Support business development and help achieve sales targets
Act as a key member of the senior management team
Experience managing 10+ service or commissioning engineers
Strong technical knowledge of BMS/BEMS systems
Commercially astute with P&L or budget experience
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Calm, decisive, and target-focused under pressure
Ability to foster team spirit and develop staff
