Bodyshop Controller

We are currently recruiting for a Bodyshop Controller to join our client based in Cheltenham.

Our client is offering the successful Bodyshop Controller on target earnings of £45,000.

The hours of work for this role are Monday‑Friday 8:30‑5:30.

• Fully negotiable starting salary pending experience and current earnings.
• Performance‑related bonus scheme providing on‑target earnings of £45,000 per annum.

• Have experience as a Bodyshop Controller within an Accident Repair Centre.
• Have a strong knowledge of the workings of an Automotive Bodyshop.
• Leadership qualities and supervisory skills.
• An up‑to‑date technical knowledge and skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to understand customer expectations.

• Liaise with the Centre Manager and productive team to ensure best process.
• Ensure customer requirements are fully understood and communicated in an effective manner to other members of the team.
• Monitor individual and workshop efficiencies to ensure key performance indicators are met.
• Calculate and manage the effective use of the body shop.
• Plan the distribution of work among the team utilising available skills mix.
• Monitor the quality of work carried out on accident damaged vehicles and ensure work is carried out to a high standard.
• Identify individual training and development needs.
