Mechanical Project Manager

Location: Central London
Rate: 350 - 400 per day (Outside IR35)
Contract Type: Freelance / Contract

A well-established M&E contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to deliver a portfolio of small fit out projects across Central London.

This is a hands-on contract role focused on fast-paced, technically sound delivery, working on multiple short-duration schemes within commercial environments.

• Manage the mechanical package on multiple small fit out projects

• Take projects from pre-construction through to completion

• Coordinate subcontractors, direct labour and suppliers

• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification

• Review drawings, technical information and RAMS

• Manage variations, cost control and reporting

• Liaise with clients, consultants and internal teams

• Drive commissioning, snagging and handover

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within fit out or small works

• Strong knowledge of HVAC and building services installations

• Experience delivering projects in live commercial environments

• Ability to manage multiple fast-track projects concurrently

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• SMSTS preferred

• 350 - 400 per day
