Location: City

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead the site team and daily operations on a live, high-value multi-room development.

This role requires a proven leader who has successfully delivered projects from inception to completion valued at 80M+. This is not a stepping-up opportunity - applicants must already be operating at Senior Site Manager level on complex, high-value, multi-room schemes.

You will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality delivery across all site operations.

Essential Experience & Requirements
  • Proven experience delivering 80M+ projects from start to finish

  • Minimum 4+ years operating as a Senior Site Manager

  • Strong background in high-value multi-room developments (e.g. hotels, PBSA, high-rise residential, healthcare or similar)

  • Experience managing large site teams and multiple subcontractor packages

  • Strong commercial awareness

  • References from previous multi-room schemes

Certifications
  • SMSTS

  • First Aid

  • CSCS Management Card

  • Temporary Works Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

Health & Safety
  • Full ownership of site H&S management

  • Lead and manage all H&S actions and compliance

  • Promote a strong safety-first culture ("don't walk by" attitude)

  • Ensure statutory and company procedure compliance

Quality Assurance
  • Overall responsibility for QA on site

  • Ensure works meet specification, contract requirements and company standards

  • Review drawings and ensure compliance

  • Maintain accurate QA records and documentation

Site & Programme Management
  • Lead daily site operations and subcontractor coordination

  • Produce and manage short-term programmes with the Project Manager

  • Manage site logistics and sequencing

  • Lead contractor meetings

  • Report progress, risks and issues

  • Coordinate with M&E and Design teams

  • Support procurement and commercial reviews

  • Develop junior team members

Commercial Awareness
  • Work closely with the QS team on cost reporting

  • Understand contractual obligations across the supply chain

  • Identify risks, variations and programme impacts
