Head Of Quality

A charity supporting people with learning disabilities with ambitious growth plans is looking to add a new Head of Quality to their leadership team.

The charity provide residential and community support to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. They have a superb reputation and excellent track record within the sector.

You will be an influential leader with experience of supporting operational teams to strengthen the Quality Assurance Framework and develop the overall group Quality Strategy Programme, and the role out and delivery of the plan over the next 2 years.

This is a strategic role to ready the business to support its current service offerings, and develop plans for future growth to offer more complex care services.

This is fantastic time to join the team, and be influential in the reshape of the charity and its offerings to people with learning disabilities and their families.

This will be all about instigating, designing and driving positive change throughout the organisation. At a high level, you will have strategic input with the senior leadership team to embed quality within the strategic growth plan. Alongside this, your passion for care quality will see you actively engaging with operational leaders to ensure all the services have effective systems, are up to date with legislation and best practice, and taking the lead on all aspects of quality management and continuous improvement.

You will also be comfortable managing stakeholder relationships externally, building strong, productive partnerships with CQC, local authorities and partner organisations.

This is a greenfield opportunity to build a new department and also a new team, making a real difference to the effectiveness of the services and the ongoing success of the organisation. For an ambitious candidate, this will lead on to the chance for progression to director level.
