Overview
urbanbubble are looking for an incredible General Manager to lead the team at our Soho Yard development in Sheffield! The General Manager will be solely responsible for delivering all aspects of lettings and management of the development, including the delivery of exceptionally high quality customer service. This role is based on‑site at Soho Yard 5 days per week, with occasional weekends required.
Responsibilities- Be solely responsible for delivering all aspects of operational and budgetary management of the development, including the delivery of exceptionally high‑quality customer service.
- Ensuring the smooth running of the building and that all resident services are carried out to a high standard.
- Provide inspirational leadership to a highly motivated team that are committed to working within a culture of continuous improvement, outstanding performance, and excellent levels of resident satisfaction.
- Manage and create the budget for the building, ensuring the operation is run both efficiently and effectively.
- Contribute to weekly, monthly and quarterly client reporting on lettings performance and operational budget management.
- Implement and fully support an engagement strategy that includes resident communication and events as well as feedback and satisfaction levels.
- Ensure Health and Safety policies and procedures are being properly implemented and a safe environment is provided for residents and staff.
- Deliver all KPIs through effective operational management and deliver the highest possible standards in line with Service Level Agreements.
- Recruit, develop and retain talent by promoting peak performance through effective people management, embracing the one‑to‑one and review process.
- Comparable Property Management experience within residential or hospitality.
- Good understanding and practical experience of H&S and building management.
- Experience of managing budgets.
- Strong communication, influencing and relationship skills.
- Excellent people management skills and experience of managing large teams.
- Experience developing high‑performing teams in a fast‑paced demanding environment.
- Outstanding customer service standards.
- The ability to work proactively and to use initiative in a highly competitive and dynamic environment.
- High levels of energy, drive, enthusiasm and passion for developing themselves and supporting their team.
- Health and Safety qualification.
- ARLA qualification.
- IRPM foundation level qualification (or willingness to work towards).
