Warehouse & Operations Manager – Swindon – £40,000–£48,000 – Permanent

Noble Recruiting is hiring for a Warehouse & Operations Manager on behalf of a reputable employer based on the outskirts of Swindon, Wiltshire. This is a full‑time, permanent opportunity managing the late warehouse shift within a fast‑paced distribution environment. This role would suit an experienced Warehouse Manager, Operations Manager or Dispatch Manager with strong people leadership skills and a hands‑on management style.

• Lead and manage the late‑shift warehouse operation
• Ensure operational KPIs and service levels are achieved
• Manage, coach and develop the warehouse team
• Promote compliance with company policies and health & safety procedures
• Implement process improvements and operational best practice
• Oversee stock control and warehouse accuracy
• Maintain a hands‑on approach, including picking and loading palletised orders where required
• Check delivery and pick notes for accuracy
• Ensure smooth and accurate vehicle dispatch
• Liaise with internal departments, including Transport and Sales
• Maintain strong communication across shifts and with drivers

• Minimum 3 years’ warehouse management experience
• Proven experience running warehouse or dispatch operations
• Strong people management and leadership skills
• Ability to work confidently under pressure and make decisions
• Excellent communication skills
• Reliable and adaptable approach to shift work
• Counterbalance Forklift Certificate (desirable, in‑date)
