Martin-Baker, the world leader in ejection seat technology, is looking for a Business Project Manager. Unlike traditional engineering programme management roles, this position focuses on business expansion and market entry projects.

You'll take ownership of the India business setup project coordinating across departments, aligning senior stakeholders, and ensuring delivery of a complex, multi-faceted international expansion programme.

As our business project portfolio grows, you'll be involved in further strategic initiatives across new markets and business areas.

• Leading and advancing the India market entry project through to completion
• Creating a structured programme management approach for business initiatives
• Coordinating cross-functional teams including HR, Sourcing, Product Support and senior leadership
• Acting as the bridge between executive strategy and departmental execution
• Managing stakeholder relationships at senior level across the organisation
• Driving momentum and maintaining delivery across multiple work streams
• Establishing a new business entity
• Setting up supply chains and identifying suppliers
• Supporting hiring and organisational setup in India
• Establishing offices and manufacturing capability
• Supporting customer engagement with the Indian Air Force
• Lead a high-impact, international strategic expansion project
• Work directly with senior leadership across the organisation

You are confident, credible and comfortable operating at senior level.

• Strong programme/project management experience
• Senior stakeholder management experience (critical requirement)
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Ability to work independently and autonomously
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building new processes
• Experience setting up businesses or entering new international markets
• Exposure to non-engineering or business-led projects
• Engineering, business or finance-related degree (desirable)
