Farm Manager

Cherry Valley Farms (UK) Ltd. is a global leader in the development of the modern duck industry. Through our pedigree breeding programme, combined with advanced management and husbandry techniques, we continue to improve the quality and performance of Cherry Valley ducks worldwide.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Farm Manager to oversee our dedicated high-health-status testing farm. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager (UK). This is a key role within the business.

The site plays a vital role in collecting primary breeding data, making this position critical to the continued success and development of our breeding programme.

• Maintaining exceptionally high standards of animal husbandry across the site
• Managing, planning, and implementing all site data collection activities
• Providing strong leadership and direction to the farm team, ensuring high levels of motivation and performance
• Working closely with Genetics and other departments across the Cherry Valley operation
• Ensuring strict compliance with all biosecurity, welfare, and environmental procedures and practices

• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Strong leadership and people management ability
• High attention to detail
• The ability to work effectively within a technical and data-focused environment
• L3 work-based diploma in Agriculture (Poultry Production) or equivalent is desirable
• Knowledge of Genetics and Primary Breeding is also desirable
