Operations Manager

Operations Manager – Salary: £44,000 per annum plus performance bonus, car allowance & pension.

Location:

Newhaven.

Hours:

Full‑time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday).

• Deliver strong operational and financial performance while maintaining high levels of customer service and ensuring team mental and physical wellbeing.
• Day‑to‑day management of operatives, staff and site‑based support to maximise site capability and capacity.
• Drive a first‑time collection culture.
• Manage people and assets to deliver or exceed service expectations.
• Manage operations against Veolia minimum requirements.
• Serve as the nominated Transport Manager with overall responsibility for fleet management and compliance.
• Drive efficiencies to maximise profit.
• Use data to improve operational performance.

• Transport CPC Level 3 certification.
• Leadership and management experience or equivalent.
• Previous experience within the waste industry.
• Previous fleet management experience.
