What you'll be responsible for: O Licence compliance for a small vehicle fleet, including audits every six months and routine servicing obligations Route planning across two internal vehicles, with smart outsourcing decisions on remaining deliveries to manage courier costs without compromising service Import and export movements between Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland using the Trader Support Service (TSS) Full Health and Safety ownership, including annual audits and staff training coordination On site equipment management, waste handling, recycling processes, and associated tax obligations Operational cost control across the depot Leading and developing a team of warehouse staff and drivers What we need from you:
Hands on experience managing warehouse and distribution operations Practical O Licence and fleet compliance experience (you don't need to have been the licence holder, but you should be familiar with the licence requirements) Proven ability to manage courier relationships and control delivery costs Familiarity with TSS for cross-border movements Strong Health and Safety knowledge Organised, cost aware, and comfortable owning a busy operation end to end If you're the type who takes pride in running a tight operation and wants to be rewarded when it performs well, this is a role worth pursuing.
