YOUR ROLE

Air Export Team Leader based at our London Skyline Office. You will oversee the day‑to‑day running of the air export operation, ensuring shipments are handled accurately, efficiently and in full compliance with all regulatory and customer requirements.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of export coordinators to deliver consistent, high‑quality performance
  • Manage daily workloads, ensuring all shipments meet airline timelines and customer deadlines
  • Act as the primary escalation point for key customers, resolving issues quickly and professionally
  • Oversee export documentation including checks, commercial invoices and customs declarations
  • Coordinate with airlines, general sales agents and handling agents to secure bookings and manage uplift performance
  • Ensure full compliance, security and regulations rules are managed and administered
  • Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve service and operational performance
  • Identify and drive continuous improvements across processes and service delivery
  • Support onboarding, training and ongoing development of team members
  • Work closely with internal teams across warehouses, import, finance and customer service
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Proven air export operations experience ideally within a freight forwarding or logistics environment and proven team leadership or supervisory experience. Strong understanding of airline requirements, cargo handling and export documentation, and knowledge of compliance requirements including DG, customs and security regulations. Experience using freight‑based systems and airline portals. Excellent communication skills, ability to build relationships, influence, solve problems and negotiate. Must have resided in the UK for a minimum of five years.
