HMP/YOI Moorland – Facilities Manager (Full time)

Doncaster (DN7 6BW
)
Working hours:
Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (39 hours per week)
We’re recruiting for a Facilities Manager to lead service delivery at HMP/YOI Moorland. This key leadership role oversees Hard FM operations within a secure environment, ensuring compliance, performance and a safe, well‑maintained estate.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a large, multi‑skilled team, including performance and employee relations matters
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations and long‑term estate management on behalf of the client
- Build strong working relationships with prison stakeholders and key partners
- Ensure full compliance with statutory, mandatory and health & safety requirements
- Drive KPI performance and service delivery standards across the contract
- Manage environmental processes and ensure adherence to sustainability requirements
- Proven experience in Hard FM delivery (ideally 5+ years)
- Experience managing large teams in a complex operational environment
- Strong understanding of statutory compliance and audit processes
- Good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
- Confident stakeholder management and communication skills
- Relevant FM or technical qualification (desirable)
- Stable, long‑term contract within the Ministry of Justice estate
