Parts Manager

Brighton (outskirts) with parking available on site

Full time permanent role
- Monday
- Friday  and 1 in 3 Saturday mornings  on a rosta basis.

Salary £35000-£40000 plus very good all round company benefits, bonus scheme and ongoing manufacturer and industry training.

The role is suitable for someone with previous experience in automotive parts management or someone looking to make the step up from a Parts Advisor role.

The role
- Parts Manager

Working closely with the Service Department and supporting a large trade customer base, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the Parts Department.

As Parts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the Parts Department, ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining efficient stock control processes.

Duties will include:

  • Managing the day-to-day operation of the Parts Department
  • Handling inbound customer and trade enquiries
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Processing parts orders accurately and efficiently
  • Maintaining stock levels and inventory control
  • Updating internal systems and records
  • Supporting the Service Department with parts requirements
  • Ensuring excellent customer service standards are maintained
  • Driving departmental performance and efficiency

Experience, competencies and knowledge required:

  • Previous automotive parts experience
  • Experience in a supervisory or management role, or a Parts Advisor looking to progress
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Professional and confident telephone manner
  • Good computer skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
