The Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Care Home Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our home. You will be responsible for ensuring outstanding care delivery, maintaining regulatory compliance, and fostering a positive environment for residents, families, and staff. This is a key leadership role requiring excellent organisational skills, strong clinical or care knowledge, and the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
Key Responsibilities Provide effective leadership and management across all aspects of the home. Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations , internal policies, and sector legislation. Maintain high standards of care, safeguarding, dignity, and resident wellbeing. Oversee staffing, including recruitment, training, supervision, and performance management. Manage residents personal allowance and ledgers. Build strong relationships with residents, families, professionals, and external agencies. Lead quality assurance processes, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure safe medication management, risk assessments, and incident reporting. Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive culture for staff and residents. About You Proven experience as a Care Home Manager , Deputy Manager, or senior leader in adult social care. Strong understanding of CQC standards , safeguarding, and regulatory frameworks. Excellent leadership, communication, and people-management skills. Ability to manage resources, and operational priorities effectively.
Compassionate, resident-focused, and committed to delivering outstanding care. NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Leadership & Management for Health and Social Care (or working towards).
