More about your role
We're looking for a passionate and proactive Assistant Services Manager to support the delivery of high-quality supported accommodation for vulnerable families across two of our services in Bristol. Your main base will be Priory Court, with regular travel required to Lanercost in Southmead, so access to your own vehicle is essential.
You'll play a key role in leading and developing a team of Support Workers, ensuring that families receive the tailored support they need to build independence, sustain their tenancies and achieve positive outcomes.
Working closely with the Service Manager, you'll help oversee day-to-day operations across both schemes, ensuring services are delivered in line with contractual requirements, safeguarding responsibilities and internal policies. You'll also build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, support agencies and other key stakeholders to ensure families receive a joined-up and effective support service.
This is a hands-on role where you will:
Provide regular supervision, coaching and support to your team.
Support the delivery of person-centred support plans for vulnerable families with a range of support needs.
Ensure tenancy management is proactive, responsive and trauma-informed.
Create safe, welcoming and inclusive environments across both schemes.
Work closely with external partners to help families access the support they need.
Contribute to service improvements and help drive positive outcomes for customers.

More about you
Essential criteria:
Experience working within supported housing, homelessness, family support or a related environment.
A strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management and trauma-informed practice.
Experience leading, coaching or supervising colleagues.
The ability to build effective relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
A passion for supporting vulnerable families to achieve positive and sustainable outcomes.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, as travel between Priory Court and Lanercost, Southmead is required.
