The Role
Our Client are looking for an experienced and commercially focused Air Conditioning Branch Manager to take responsibility for the continued development and performance of the branch.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong knowledge of the Air Conditioning and HVAC industry who can combine operational management with sales, customer relationship management and team leadership.
The role will be predominantly based at the Swindon branch, with regular opportunities to get out and meet customers, develop existing accounts and generate new business.
You will take ownership of the branch's day-to-day operations, ensuring it runs efficiently, safely and profitably while delivering a high level of service to customers.

Key Responsibilities

· Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation, performance and profitability of the Swindon branch

· Lead, motivate, train and develop the branch team

· Drive sales performance and achieve agreed revenue and commercial targets

· Develop new business opportunities within the Air Conditioning and HVAC market

· Build and maintain strong relationships with new, existing and key account customers

· Conduct customer visits to understand requirements and identify opportunities for growth

· Develop and implement effective sales and business development strategies

· Manage branch budgets, forecasting, costs, margins and P&L performance

· Manage inventory and stock levels to meet customer and operational requirements

· Build effective supplier relationships and coordinate purchasing and supply requirements

· Maintain excellent standards of customer service and customer satisfaction

· Ensure effective use of CRM systems and accurate management of customer information

· Identify and implement improvements to branch processes, efficiency and performance

· Ensure compliance with Air Conditioning and HVAC industry regulations and safety standards

· Maintain high standards of health and safety throughout branch operations
Requirements

· Previous branch management or similar senior management experience

· Strong knowledge of the Air Conditioning and HVAC industry

· Proven team leadership and staff development skills

· A successful track record in sales, business development and achieving commercial targets

· Strong customer relationship and key account management experience

· Experience managing budgets, forecasting and P&L

· Good knowledge of inventory, stock control and supplier management

· Understanding of relevant industry regulations and health and safety requirements

· Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify opportunities for profitable growth

· Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
