We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established accident repair group, for the position of Bodyshop Manager at their new site in Abergavenny. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced automotive professional to lead a busy, high-performing bodyshop and contribute to its continued success. The Bodyshop Manager will oversee all operational aspects of the centre, managing a team of up to 20 staff members, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and high standards of service delivery.

Duties of the Bodyshop Manager

Manage the day-to-day operations of the bodyshop, ensuring productivity and profitability
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of up to 20 staff members
Implement and maintain strict process controls and quality standards
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations
Liaise effectively with insurance companies, customers, and suppliers
Monitor KPIs and financial targets to drive continuous improvement
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
Assist with training and development initiatives to enhance team performance

Requirements

Proven experience as a Bodyshop Manager or in a similar senior role within an accident repair environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a large team
Methodical and structured approach to operational management
Knowledge of industry standards, processes, and health and safety regulations
Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
