Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Complex Case Tenancies Team Leader to spearhead their Income Collection service. This pivotal role involves leading a specialist team dedicated to investigating and resolving persistent no-access cases across the housing portfolio, ensuring legal compliance and property recovery where necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of up to 5 Complex Officers, setting clear objectives and driving performance.
Ensure high-quality front-line services are delivered to meet organisational goals.
Act as the primary liaison with legal, fraud, safeguarding, and tenancy enforcement teams.
Represent the organisation at court, committee meetings, and other relevant forums.
Coordinate with various teams to ensure effective resolution of complex cases.

Essential Qualifications and

Experience:

Demonstrable management experience in a housing-related field.
Knowledge of housing legislation, tenancy enforcement, and safeguarding.
Experience representing an authority in court settings.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, especially in sensitive situations.
Ability to manage complex caseloads and lead multi-agency collaborations.
