Interaction Recruitment is currently working with a well-established structural steel contractor based in Northampton, delivering large-scale projects across the UK. Due to continued workload, they are looking to recruit an experienced MIG Structural Steel Welder to join their fabrication team.

This role would suit a welder with a solid background in structural steel fabrication and site-ready workmanship standards.

The Role:

MIG welding of structural steel components

Working from engineering and fabrication drawings

Welding beams, columns, frames, and associated steelwork

Ensuring welds meet quality and industry standards

Working within a busy fabrication workshop environment

Requirements:

Proven experience in structural steel MIG welding

Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings

Strong understanding of welding quality standards

Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-focused

Previous workshop-based structural experience preferred
