Night Baker
Paddock Wood, Kent
Salary: £31,200 rising to £33,800 after successful probation

Hours:

Sunday to Wednesday: 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM

Thursday: 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM

Friday: 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM
(Includes one rotated day off during the week)

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Night Baker to join a hardworking team at a well-established bakery in Paddock Wood, Kent. If you’re passionate about baking high-quality bread and pastries, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy working through the night, we want to hear from you.

• Preparing, mixing, and baking a wide variety of Bread etc to a high standard
• Working to production schedules and ensuring consistent product quality
• Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards in the bakery
• Operating and maintaining bakery equipment
  
  Supporting the team with dough preparation, shaping, baking, and finishing

• Proven experience as a professional baker, ideally in a commercial or artisan environment
• Good understanding of traditional and modern baking techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small, dedicated team
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Physically fit – this is a hands‑on role that involves standing, lifting, and working at a pace

• Competitive starting salary of £31,200, rising to £33,800 after probation

Location:

Easily commutable from Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Maidstone, and surrounding areas.
