Loading Shovel Operative

Due to continued growth and investment, we have a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Loading Shovel Operative to join our team based from Tynedale Roadstone Limited of Gelnfin Quarry Tower Farm, Cockburnspath, Berwickshire, TD13 5YU
.

As a member of MGL Group, you will be committed to ensuring safe working conditions and adherence to all company principles, procedures, and regulations relevant to your role.

Various shift patterns will be Monday – Thursday, 7-5 pm, and Friday, 7-4 pm, and may include weekends when required—good rates of pay, regular overtime, and benefits offered, with an immediate start available. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.

• Must have a valid CPCS card and relevant experience in operating a Loading Shovel
• Other relevant CPCS qualifications are advantageous
• Experience in working on a screening operation
• Experience in Mobile Plant operations
• Must hold a full, clean UK Driving licence
• Ensure daily maintenance checks and records are completed accurately, and meticulous housekeeping standards upheld
• Flexible to allow varied work patterns to meet the needs of the business
• Strong commitment towards safe working practices
• Ability to meet strict deadlines
• Operate as part of the team, harnessing a working environment which encourages teamwork
• Self-motivated – improvement-oriented with a desire to undertake any other relevant training deemed necessary to enhance performance
