Quality Inspector Dagenham

Role Overview:

On behalf of our client, an Automotive manufacturer, we are recruiting a Quality Inspector to join their Production team in Dagenham. This role is responsible for responding swiftly to quality concerns, minimising their impact on vehicle quality and Right First Time (RFT) production.

The successful candidate will work closely with Line Leaders and Assembly Operators to resolve end-of-line quality issues.

Key Activities:

• Inspect vehicles and carry out road testing where required.
• Identify and document any quality concerns accurately and promptly.
• Work collaboratively with Line Leaders and Assembly Operators to resolve quality issues efficiently.
• Ensure vehicles are not placed out of sequence (OOS) due to quality concerns.
• Maintain high housekeeping and hygiene standards in line with 5S principles.
• Act in accordance with all company guidelines and policies, including Environmental, Health & Safety, ethics, values, and codes of conduct.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality performance.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by management.

Skills & Experience:

• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
• Proven experience within a quality inspection role.
• Experience working within a quality department in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
• Good understanding of industry health and safety standards.
• Strong technical capability with the ability to follow SOPs without deviation.
• Proactive and solutions-focused with developing problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Package:

• Salary: £29,887 + 15% shift allowance

  Rotating early (Mon Fri, 6am 2pm) & late (Mon Thurs, 2pm 12pm) shifts
• 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
