Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm
Rate of Pay: £12.85 per hour

Scottish Gourmet is seeking to appoint a Production Team Leader to support the Operations Manager and small production team in the effective day-to-day running of the production area. The role is responsible for ensuring productivity, staff supervision, and maintaining high standards of product quality, hygiene, traceability, and Health & Safety.

• Supervise, motivate, and support the Production team.
• Maintain positive working relationships within the team.
• Identify and elevate any issues or concerns to the Operations Manager in a timely manner.
• Ensure all company Health & Safety procedures are fully complied with.
• Maintain effective segregation, allergen control, and specification compliance at all times.
• Ensure high hygiene standards are maintained within the production room.
• Operate and promote a “clean as you go” system.
• Monitor product quality throughout production.
• Ensure any non-conforming product is immediately identified and reported to the Manager.
• Ensure all waste materials are handled and disposed of hygienically and in line with company procedures.
• Complete all associated production, quality, and traceability paperwork accurately and on time.
• Ensure daily KPIs, production targets, and efficiency standards are achieved.
• Support continuous improvement within the production Room.
