We're on the lookout for an experienced CNC Setter to join a forward-thinking precision manufacturing team. If you take pride in producing high-quality components, enjoy problem-solving, and want to be part of a business focused on continuous improvement, you'll fit right in.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Setting and operating a Tornos CT20 sliding head lathe
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings, CAD/CAM data, and machining instructions
  • Creating or modifying CNC programs to improve cycle times and tooling performance
  • Carrying out tool changes, adjusting offsets, and ensuring components meet tight tolerances
  • Quality checking finished parts using micrometers and Keyence measuring systems
  • Maintaining machine housekeeping including lubrication, tooling, and coolant levels
  • Working collaboratively with production, planning, toolroom, and maintenance teams
  • Recording production data and supporting continuous improvement
  • Performing routine machine maintenance
  • Keeping the work environment clean, safe, and efficient

What You'll Bring

  • Proven CNC Setter experience
  • Strong understanding of tooling, die setups, and metal forming processes
  • Confident reading technical drawings and using precise measuring tools
  • Mechanically minded with strong problem-solving skills
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
  • Flexible and willing to support wider production tasks

Hours:
