Manufacturing Production, Operations Engineer
Location: Kilrea
An excellent opportunity has arisen for multiple General Operatives to join a well-established engineering company in the Kilrea area. Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you will play a key role in supporting production processes, ensuring manufactured components are handled efficiently, accurately, and in line with quality standards.
This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure components are prepared safely and effectively for the next stage of assembly, inspection, or distribution.
- Separate machined, moulded, or fabricated parts from raw materials, runners, or sprues using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Conduct visual and dimensional checks to ensure parts meet required tolerances and standards.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to maintain consistency in part separation.
- Operate cutting, trimming, or deburring tools safely and efficiently to achieve high-quality results.
- Identify and sort parts by type, size, or production batch to streamline workflow.
- Work closely with the production, assembly, and quality teams to ensure smooth material flow.
- Record production data, faults, or process deviations as required for tracking and continuous improvement.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment desirable however full training will be provided.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Hands-on experience with basic hand tools and separation equipment.
- Understanding of manufacturing and quality control processes.
About the role:
£12.98 per hour plus 15 percent shift allowance
Monday - Wednesday (8.30 pm - 7.30 am)
Thursday (7.30 pm - 6.30 am)
