Production Operative (Machine Operative Background Required)
Location: Frome, Somerset
Job Type: 12 Weeks Temp to Perm
Shift Pattern: 3-Shift Rotation (Monday-Friday / Sunday-Thursday)

We are currently recruiting for Machine Operatives on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing food manufacturer based in Frome. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a machine operative background who are looking to secure a long-term position with genuine permanent prospects.

This role operates on a 3-week rotational shift pattern:

• Week 1: Monday-Friday, 06:00-14:00 - 12.25 per hour

• Week 2: Monday-Friday, 14:00-22:00 - 12.75 per hour

• Week 3: Sunday-Thursday, 22:00-06:00 - 13.25 per hour

The role:

As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for:

• Operating and monitoring production machinery

• Ensuring products are manufactured to quality standards

• Carrying out basic machine adjustments and fault reporting

• Completing production documentation accurately

• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

• Working as part of a team to meet production targets

• Previous machine operative or production line experience (essential)

• Experience with in food manufacturing (desirable but not essential)

• Strong attention to detail and quality standards

• A proactive and reliable approach to work

• Willingness to work rotating shifts

After successfully completing 12 weeks, there is the opportunity to transfer to a permanent contract.

Once permanent, the salary will range between:
30,687. per annum

Final salary will be dependent on completed training modules and progression achieved during the initial period.
