Job Overview:

Thrive Personnel are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Late Shift Team Leader to supervise a small team in our clients furniture manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking, experience operating woodworking machinery, and knowledge of spray finishing techniques. As a working supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the late shift, meeting production targets, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a safe and productive work environment.

Monday to Thursday, 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM

Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead a small team of production workers on the late shift.

Operate and maintain woodworking machinery, including but not limited to saws, routers, sanders, and CNC machines.

Oversee the spray department, ensuring proper mixing of paints and finishes, application techniques, and equipment maintenance.

Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders.

Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs.

Enforce safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness.

Train new employees on equipment operation and safety procedures.

Maintain accurate production records and report any issues to management.

Ensure quality control standards are met throughout the production process.

Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and efficiency.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in furniture manufacturing or a related field.

Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and machinery operation.

Experience with spray finishing and paint mixing.

Supervisory or team leadership experience.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
