Location: Chartham, near Canterbury, Kent (Drive)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour (standard) | £16.81 per hour (overtime)
Hours: 06:30-18:30, 5 shifts per week (may include weekends)

HRGO Recruitment Ashford is recruiting a motivated and reliable Production Operative on behalf of a production client based in Chartham, near Canterbury. This is an ongoing temporary role with a genuine opportunity to become permanent based on performance. The role involves supporting the smooth and efficient running of the packing line while maintaining high standards of Health & Safety, Hygiene, and Compliance.

Immediate start available.

Support the running of the packing line, including start-up checks

Work closely with Line Leaders, ODS, Chiller, and Machine Operators

Ensure correct packaging, labelling, and product specifications are followed

Maintain hygiene, quality, and food safety standards at all times

Complete basic paperwork accurately, including updating the minus sheet

Assist with monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages

Keep the working area clean, safe, and well organised

Report completed work and issues to the Line Leader or Packhouse Manager

Previous experience in food production or packing is preferred but not essential

Good communication skills with a strong level of English

Basic Maths skills

Able to work under pressure and meet production targets

Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Ongoing work with a temp-to-perm opportunity
