Job Title: Packing Operative

Location: Swindon, SN25

Pay Rate: £12.21p/h

Shifts: Monday to Friday , 10am – 6pm or 6am - 2pm

Contract: Temporary ongoing

Gap personnel are currently recruiting for the role of Warehouse Operatives in Swindon, SN25. The global garden furniture manufacturer is just coming into peak, and us working in partnership are recruiting for additional 9 warehouse operatives. Ideal candidate must have good English written and spoken, and warehouse experience would be an advantage. Must be also PC literate as lots of packing / goods in activities are involved in working on PC.

For those who demonstrate good attendance, performance and great work approach, there will be on going position available after peak time.

• Receive, unload and pick products
• Picking and packing stock , will involve heavy lifting
• Operating scanner for picking, stock put away and stock replenishment, so all data is automatically updated in the main system
• Despatch
• Ability to work to tight deadlines to meet all SLA
• Manual handling

• Enthusiastic work ethic with a willingness to go for an extra mile
• Previous warehouse experience working in both goods in and goods out area is an advantage
• Ability to follow & fully understand instructions and be able to clearly explain requirements to others.
• Must be computer literate
• Good verbal & written communication skills
• Good attention to detail.

Working hours :

Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm or 10am - 6pm ( with the 10am shift you may be put on 2pm-10pm shift after completion of training )

Pay rate : £12.21 per hour
