General Operator

Brightwork is looking for Labourers to join their client's team. This is a temporary position, but it could go permanent for the right individual. You will be working inside the warehouse with a small team, making pallets. This is a full-time Monday to Friday, 7.00 to 16.30. We are looking for several people who have had some kind of experience with timber.

As a General Operator, your role will include the below

• Being part of a small team working with timber
• Build new pallets using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
• Repair and refurbish damaged pallets by replacing or reinforcing boards.
• Measure, cut, and assemble wood according to specifications.
• Operate nail guns, saws, and other woodworking equipment safely.
• Inspect finished pallets for quality, durability, and compliance with customer or industry standards.
• Stack, organise, and prepare pallets for shipping or storage
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety procedures
• Operating machinery
• Ensuring quality
• Following all Health & Safety rules
