We are currently seeking a Quarry Operative to join our team at Temple Quarry. As a Quarry Operative, you will be primarily responsible for the safe loading of lorries and stockpiles.

• To comply with all Company Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and policies
• To operate and monitor equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• To perform or assist with preventative maintenance and pre‑shift inspections, repair and/or clean equipment as required
• Load lorries and ensure stockpiles are at the correct levels
• Support the housekeeping of plant, equipment, and site
• Comprehend and complete paperwork associated with this role in a timely and accurate manner
• Undertake any other duties within the quarry reasonably requested in support of site operations

• Previous knowledge and experience of working with plant and equipment in a construction environment
• Ability to operate mobile plant
• Ability to work in a team
• Ability to work flexibly to meet business needs – including early, late and weekend shifts
• Ability to multi‑task

• Knowledge and/or experience of operating within a quarry environment
• Mechanical, hands‑on background
