Responsibilities

As our Production Butcher, you will be at the heart of operations, expertly preparing and processing a diverse range of meat products, ensuring every item consistently meets our stringent company standards and specifications. You’ll uphold the highest levels of quality and safety throughout the entire production process, ensuring your work area remains impeccably clean and organised in strict adherence to all food safety regulations.

Your role will also involve assisting with inventory management, accurately recording stock levels and implementing effective rotation. Upholding all health and safety guidelines is paramount to ensure a secure environment for yourself and your colleagues, all while collaborating seamlessly with your team to achieve production targets efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications
  • Experience in food production or culinary environments, ideally with strong butchery skills.
  • Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene, along with practical meat preparation experience.
  • Previous hospitality or kitchen experience is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in operating specialised butchery tools and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Proficiency in English.
