Technical Packer - 12-hour Shifts (Days & Nights Rotating)

At our Golborne site (5 mins from the J22 or J23 M6) based on the East Lancs Road, we employ over 270 colleagues who produce a number of packaging solutions on a 24/7 basis for major international customers.

We now need to strengthen our Packing team and require a Technical Packer/Operative.

• Previous packing experience in fast paced manufacturing environment – responsible for ensuring product being packed meets the required specification and report any defects to supervision.
• Troubleshooting and addressing issues occurring with AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicle).
• Ensure the packaging is of an acceptable standard, removing any cartons, trays, etc. which do not meet the required specification.
• Check that each label is the correct one for the product being packed.
• Ensure that the date and packer no. is clearly marked on each label.
• Good Health and Safety awareness.
