Production Operative

Great opportunity to work as a Production Operative for our client, a global partner in sustainable packaging solutions.

Staffline is recruiting Production Operatives in Tamworth.

The rate of pay is £14.00 per hour.

This is a full-time role working 32 hours per week, Friday to Sunday or Saturday to Monday. The hours of work are:

- Friday to Sunday - 06:00am - 14:00pm, then 06:00am - 18:00pm and 06:00am - 18:00pm
- Saturday to Monday - 06:00am
-18:00pm and 06:00am - 18:00pm then 06:00am - 14:00pm

Your Time at Work

As a Production Operative you will be working next to machinery producing plastic mouldings, from small to large sizes. Operatives can perform various required tasks, all while standing, as the work is steady but not fast-paced. The duties include:

- Labelling and packing
- Assembling other plastic parts to the moulded part
- Trimming with tools
- Quality checking
- Stacking and palletising
- Housekeeping

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will show dedication in their previous roles, as this job would be a long-term role, so being a reliable team player is key.

You need to be able to commit to the 32 hours; this position will not suit someone working full time already. This works as an add on part time role or a role for someone with commitments Monday to Friday and wants consistent weekend work.

Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
