Mechanical Technician Looking for a hands-on engineering role with excellent benefits, overtime opportunities, and long-term career prospects? Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting a Mechanical Technician to join a well-established engineering team working on specialist subsea equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical background who enjoys assembly, testing, and problem-solving in a high-quality manufacturing environment.

The Role As a Mechanical Technician, you'll be involved in the assembly, testing, and commissioning of advanced mechanical and hydraulic equipment used in demanding subsea environments.
Key responsibilities include:
Assembling mechanical and hydraulic components, sub-assemblies, and complete assemblies Mechanical assembly and load testing of subsea products Manufacturing and testing hydraulic hoses and pipework Pressure testing, setup, and functional testing of a wide range of tooling and assemblies Working closely with other departments to ensure quality standards and project deadlines are achieved Completing all relevant documentation, including quality records, timesheets, NCRs, and ECNs About You We're keen to hear from candidates who have: A background in mechanical assembly, fitting, or maintenance Experience as an automotive mechanic, vehicle technician, or similar hands-on engineering role A solid understanding of mechanical engineering practices and assembly techniques Completed a mechanical apprenticeship or have equivalent shop-floor engineering experience A strong focus on quality, safety, and attention to detail If you're looking to join a growing engineering business where your skills are valued and rewarded, we'd love to hear from you.
