Location: Willington Quay

Purpose and Mission

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality & Process Technician to support our production operations and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring product quality, process compliance, and operational efficiency, working closely with Process Engineering and Quality teams.

Key Activities and Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime and ensure quality standards
  • Perform shop floor inspections and ensure compliance with specifications
  • Identify gaps between operations and SOPs, and support corrective actions
  • Document findings from audits, inspections, and investigations
  • Support the development and improvement of process specifications
  • Participate in GEMBA and BMS audits to drive continuous improvement
  • Inspect key process components and coordinate with maintenance for replacements
  • Actively escalate issues and follow up on corrective actions (e.g. Kaizen)
Skills
  • Basic knowledge of quality assurance principles and inspection processes
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a structured and proactive approach
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Good communication skills and confidence to elevate issues when needed
  • Comfortable working with MS Office and standard IT tools
  • Willingness to work in a rotating shift pattern
Nice to have
  • Technical diploma or qualification in Engineering/Production
  • Experience with internal audits or QMS
  • Familiarity with problem‑solving tools (e.g. Why‑Why analysis, Kaizen)
