Production Engineer
£35, + Benefits
Permanent | Full-Time
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on engineer with a strong manufacturing background to play a key role in improving production efficiency, supporting new product introduction, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Key Responsibilities- Support and improve day‑to‑day manufacturing operations
- Identify and resolve production and process issues
- Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing activities
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation and work instructions
- Support new product introduction (NPI) into production
- Work closely with quality, design, and operations teams
- Analyse production data to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
- Ensure compliance with quality and health & safety standards
- Previous experience as a Production Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and production processes
- Experience with in a fast‑paced engineering or manufacturing environment
- CNC background
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) preferred
