Cornish Lithium are seeking an enthusiastic and collaborative Process Technician to work at the Company’s flagship Lithium project near the village of St. Dennis, Cornwall. Reporting to the Senior Shift Lead Metallurgist, the role will involve operation, monitoring and sampling of the Tre Lith Demonstration Facility to ensure process control and product quality are achieved.

The ideal candidate will have some experience of working in a relevant industry, and have excellent written and oral communication skills, as they will need to communicate successfully across all levels of the Company.

As a Process Technician your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Senior Shift Lead Metallurgist and Shift Metallurgist in the safe and effective operation of the demonstration plant, which will include shift work.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure the safe and correct operation of equipment.
• Undertake routine sampling of selected streams as detailed by the sampling regime.
• Undertake sample preparation and metallurgical analyses for process control.

• Valid UK Driving Licence
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Previous experience of chemical processing / engineering.
• Previous experience of mining industry, specifically lithium processing.
• Experience of SCADA systems.

The role will be based at the Company’s Trelavour Lithium Project, St. Dennis, St. Austell, Cornwall. Annual leave is the equivalent of five weeks per year pro rata, plus UK Bank Holidays. Successful applicants must be prepared to work a shift rota which will include dayshift, night shift and weekend working.
