Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Shift: Day Shift - 07:00 to 15:00

Overtime:
Available (06:00 - 16:00 and occasional Saturdays)

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a dependable and hard-working Warehouse Operative to join their team in Ayr. This is a physically demanding, hands‑on role within a busy production and warehouse environment. Working as part of a close‑knit team, you will play a key role in supporting the production of animal feed, helping to ensure operations run efficiently and safely on a day-to-day basis.

• Manual handling of 25kg drums and buckets containing raw materials
• Supporting the movement of goods across the warehouse, yard, and production areas
• Assisting with general warehouse and production duties as required
• Ensuring work spaces, including the yard and production floor, are kept clean, tidy, and safe
• Working to production schedules and supporting the smooth flow of materials
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures, particularly in relation to manual handling and industrial environments
• Working efficiently both independently and as part of a team

• Good level of physical fitness and confidence with manual handling
• Strong work ethic and willingness to get involved in all aspects of the role
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced warehouse or production setting
• Good timekeeping and reliability
  
  Previous experience in a warehouse or production role is advantageous, but not essential, as training will be provided
