Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Sleaford, Lincolnshire

Salary: £51,500 + Overtime

Shift: Permanent Nights – 36 Hours per Week

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well‑established and growing food manufacturing business. Working as part of a highly skilled engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of automated production and packaging equipment. The role will involve both reactive and planned maintenance activities, ensuring machinery operates efficiently and downtime is minimized.

• Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance across manufacturing and packaging equipment.
• Responding effectively to equipment breakdowns and production issues.
• Completing planned preventative maintenance schedules.
• Fault finding on automated machinery and production systems.
• Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures.

• Experience working as a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault‑finding abilities.
• Recognised engineering qualification (Electrical, Mechanical or Multi‑Skilled).
• Experience carrying out reactive, preventative and breakdown maintenance.
• Ability to work effectively within a fast‑paced production environment.
• Previous experience within food, FMCG, packaging or automated manufacturing environments.
• PLC fault‑finding experience using inputs and outputs.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
