Shift

Patterns & Opportunities

We currently have multiple Production Operative opportunities available across several production departments at our Glenbervie site.

Different shift patterns are available depending on the department, including:

  • Three‑week rotating shift pattern:
    • 6:00am – 2:00pm
    • 2:00pm – 10:00pm
    • 10:00pm – 6:00am
  • Employees working this shift pattern will receive an additional 8.5% shift allowance in recognition of the night shift element
  • Two‑week rotating shift pattern:
    • 6:00am – 2:00pm
    • 2:00pm – 10:00pm

Successful candidates will be assigned to a production department based on business requirements, skills, experience and shift preference where possible.

Typical Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor packaging and production machinery efficiently and safely
  • Conduct regular quality inspections on products during the production cycle
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the production area
  • Follow company procedures and health and safety regulations strictly
  • Report production issues or equipment malfunctions to supervisors promptly
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and movement of raw materials and finished goods as required
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential
  • Forklift operation certificates are advantageous but not mandatory
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and comply with safety practices
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high‑quality products
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy products as required
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including shift patterns as scheduled
