Production Operative; FLT Counterbalance

Starting Salary: £13.00 per hour + overtime & attendance bonus!

Working hours:
Regular Day Shift, 8am to 5pm or 6am to 3pm Monday to Friday.

This is a 12 week Temp to Perm position.

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing and materials handling environment. This role requires a valid FLT Counterbalance licence and a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.

• Operate machinery and support production processes to meet daily output targets
• Safely use a Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) to move, load, and unload materials and finished products
• Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
• Support general site operations including housekeeping and material handling
• Work collaboratively with team members to maintain smooth production flow
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times
• Report any faults, hazards, or production issues to supervisors promptly

• Valid FLT Counterbalance licence (essential)
• Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or industrial environment (preferred)
• Good awareness of health & safety practices
• Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to take on varied tasks
• Physically fit due to the nature of the role
