Electronic Assembly Technician Required St. Ives - Immediate Start Available
We are currently seeking a skilled electronic technician to work for one of our clients based in St. Ives. The ideal candidate will have experience in electronic assembly and be happy to work across various areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and systems according to technical specifications and production guidelines.
- Perform precision soldering and wiring of electronics components.
- Interpret and follow detailed technical schematics, blueprints, and production documents to ensure accurate assembly and testing procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, and any issues encountered during the assembly and testing processes.
- Collaborate with production engineers and quality control teams to improve assembly methods and testing procedures.
- Assist in the calibration, maintenance, and repair of production and test equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
- Experience in electronic assembly environment.
- Strong understanding of electronic circuits, components, and assembly processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and production documents.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high quality work.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve production and testing issues.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly, both verbally and in writing and to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced production environment with minimal supervision.
- Working hours:
8:00 am–4:30 pm Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am–1:30 pm on Fridays. - Salary: £28 k – 30 k per year.
