Skilled Fine Limit Sheet Metal Worker Aerospace & Defence Manufacturing | Precision Fabrication | Permanent Position A leading aerospace and defence manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Skilled Fine Limit Sheet Metal Worker to join its growing fabrication team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled fabricator with experience in precision sheet metal work, hand forming, and working with exotic materials to join a well-established engineering business producing high-specification aerospace components.

The role will involve manufacturing complex fabricated parts to extremely tight tolerances using a variety of forming, assembly, and finishing techniques.

Key Responsibilities Manufacture precision sheet metal components from engineering drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions Carry out bending, forming, cutting, pressing, riveting, assembly, deburring, stretching, and inspection operations Work to tight tolerances across a range of aerospace-grade materials including aluminium, stainless steel, titanium, and Inconel Set and operate fabrication machinery including fly press, brake press, and linishing equipment Hand form prototype panels and precision components from flat sheet material Perform drilling, trimming, grinding, filing, and finishing operations Ensure tooling and jigs are maintained and fit for purpose Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with engineering and quality standards What We're Looking For Extensive experience within precision sheet metal fabrication Strong background in aerospace, defence, or high-specification manufacturing
