Shift Operator
We have an opening for a Shift Operator to join our Production team in Wrexham.
Responsibilities- Operate and maintain machinery, including Baler, Palletiser, and Re-Work Palletiser, to ensure smooth production operations.
- Carry out regular line quality checks to ensure products meet standards and print pallet tickets for outgoing orders.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving basic machine issues such as strapper jams and restarts.
- Operate forklift and perform outgoing inspections to ensure product quality.
- Adhere to all safety standards and company procedures, including 6S and Wrexham housekeeping organisational system.
- Monitor and achieve efficiency and spoilage targets.
- Contribute to job rotation across different operator tasks and help with line clearances when necessary.
- 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Basic computer skills.
- Previous experience in a high‑speed process environment and shift work is desirable.
