Shift: 07:30am to 4:30pm Mon to Thu / 07:30am to 12:30pm on Friday
Pay Rate: 12.71 per hour

About the Role

They are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented General Factory Operative to join the team. This role involves producing foam packaging and ensuring all products meet high standards of quality and durability.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general factory duties including assembly, packing, and production support
• Use hand and power tools to assist with manufacturing and assembly tasks
• Follow work instructions, production schedules, and technical drawings where required
• Measure, cut, assemble, and finish products to specification
• Carry out basic quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
• Work as part of a team to meet daily production targets and deadlines
• Support material handling, loading, and movement of goods within the factory

About You

• Previous experience in a factory, manufacturing, or production environment is desirable
• Comfortable using hand tools and basic machinery
• Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately
• Able to follow instructions and work to set procedures
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks
• Willing to learn new skills and develop within a manufacturing environment
