Overview
CNC Turner Milton Keynes & Daventry. Up to £50,000. Work on brand new Doosan Puma lathes in a modern workshop supplying into the F1 industry and high-end automotive sectors. Company operates with an open-door policy and holds team meetings where suggestions are welcome. Roles available at both Milton Keynes and Daventry sites.
Responsibilities- Join a small turning department, operate brand new Doosan Puma lathes and program live tooling.
- Make engineering decisions and work on Fanuc controls.
- Cut a variety of jobs, primarily on CNC lathes, with aerospace-grade materials including Titanium, Inconel, Aluminium and Steel.
- There may be a small amount of manual turning; main workload is CNC turning.
- Collaborate with other machinists on a lively shop floor.
- Experience on Doosan lathes would be advantageous.
- Experience programming Fanuc with live tooling (Y-Axis).
- Set tooling and operate lathes with Fanuc controls.
